PEKKP 2024: Random Sampling by the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms at Inten Soeweno Integrated Center in Bogor

CIBINONG (July 10^th, 2024) - The Evaluation Team from the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms conducted a random sampling for the Evaluation Locus Unit (ULE) related to the Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Service Performance (PEKPP) for the year 2024 at Inten Soeweno Integrated Center (STIS) in Bogor.

Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms team, accompanied by a team from Social Affairs Ministry's Public Relations Bureau and the Organisation and Human Resource Bureau, was warmly welcomed by the Acting Head of Inten Soeweno Integrated Center in Bogor, Romal Sinaga, along with his team. Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms team, led by Carina Firstca Utomo, conducted a visit for a random and direct survey related to the monitoring and evaluation of public service performance in Inten Soeweno Integrated Center in Bogor.

The acting head of Inten Soeweno Integrated Center presented information regarding public services there, both residential and external services, STIS’ innovation in creating assistive devices assembled and used by persons with disabilities such as three-wheeled motorcycles, Hearing and Speech Disabilities Bracelet (GRUWI), Intellectual Disabilities Bracelet (GRITA), and another innovation.

The Head of STIS’ Administrative Section Nuryadi also accompanied the Evaluation Team on a visit to several Residential for Persons in Need of Social Welfare Services who were engaged in activities such as mat-making practices, physiotherapy services, occupational therapy, speech therapy, as well as observing the products made by persons in need of social welfare services.

The Evaluation Team also directly observed the assistive device workshop and looked at examples of assistive devices made by persons with disabilities in STIS. “The assistive devices made by and used by persons with disabilities are already widely used and have been beneficial for users, especially those with disabilities. Therefore, production must continue because there is still a significant need for those who have not yet received these assistive devices," said Romal.

At the end of the sampling test, both sampled through the materials presentation and direct surveys to several workshops, as well as observing the daily activities of persons in need of social welfare services at STIS, the Evaluation Team prepared a Minutes Letter as an input added as supporting data for the sampling test.

The Evaluator Team, the Public Relations Team of the Ministry of Social Affairs, and the STIS Team then signed the Minutes Letter that had been mutually agreed upon. After the Minutes were signed, each team received their respective documents, with the Bogor STIS Team specifically required to complete the missing supporting data to be submitted within the next week. This must be implemented for the performance value of public services at STIS to improve from the very good category (A-) to excellent service (A).
