JAKARTA (7 May 2021) – “Phala Martha” Sukabumi Center also celebrated the Ramadan 1442 H Bazaar entitled "Cheap Shopping Together with the Minister of Social Affairs" at the yard of the Ministry of Social Affairs office, Jalan Salemba Raya No. 28 Jakarta which was also attended by various Social Rehabilitation Centers.

 

"Phala Martha" team led directly by the Head of the Center, Cup Santo together with the Head of Social Rehabilitation Services, Deri Septiadi Dimyati, Skills Instructors along with several staff and Beneficiaries (PM) also attended this activity. The Ramadan Bazaar lasts for 2 days from Thursday - Friday, 6 to 7 May 2021.

 

Various kinds of PM products such as salted eggs, chibi-chibi chopsticks, rangginang, taro chips, tamarind turmeric, red ginger fruit and powder, nyumput nuts, cookies, mats and masks can be displayed and sold at the event. In addition, plantation products such as cassava were also presented at the bazaar.

 

Various inputs and compliments came from visitors giving their appreciation of the PM results displayed. "The package of salted eggs is attractive and iconic. The design and packaging of the pastries are also very attractive, very able to compete in the market," said the Special Advisor of the Minister of Social Affairs for the Persons Needing Social Welfare Services and Potential Sources of Social Welfare, Luhur Budijarso.

 

Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Harry Hikmat, appreciated the production of red ginger. "Red ginger is good, then immediately take care of product permits such as BPOM and Halal Certification," said Harry.

 

The Head of the Organization and Personnel Bureau, Amin Raharjo, also responded to the red ginger product. "Red ginger production can be reproduced, in addition to being based on local wisdom it is also healthy for the body," said Amin. “Spices are very easy to find in Sukabumi, this could be an opportunity for red ginger to be used as an alternative to "Phala Martha"'s superior product,” he added.

 

The proud thing from the bazaar activity is that "Phala Martha" received an award certificate from the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini as the Center with the Best Salted Egg Packaging. The charter was submitted by the Minister of Social Affairs and received directly by the beneficiary, Siti Nurhayati who was accompanied by the Head of the Center.

 

The implementation of the Bazaar is carried out continuously by implementing strict health protocols. The Ministry of Social Affairs Covid-19 Task Force Team always patrols and monitors and urges Bazaar visitors to keep their distance, always wash their hands and keep wearing masks.

 

The Ramadhan Bazaar with the Minister of Social Affairs brought blessings. All products from "Phala Martha" beneficiaries displayed in the bazaar were sold out with a sales turnover of Rp. 3,652,000 in 2 days.
