President Jokowi Visits Markets in Surakarta City to Provide ATENSI Program

SURAKARTA (26 May 2022) — President Joko Widodo and his entourage paid a working visit to Surakarta City on Thursday, 26 May 2022. On this occasion, he visited 4 (four) traditional market locations in Surakarta City, including Mojosongo Market, Gede Market, Gading Market, and Harjodaksino Market (Gemblegan).

 

The Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini, Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo, and Mayor of Surakarta Gibran Rakabuming Raka as well as Officials in MoSA presented at this event.

And also given additional capital to encourage the economy to recover," said the President during a visit to Mojosongo Market.

 

On this occasion, Minister Risma hopes that the assistance can be useful for all beneficiaries.

 

During his visit, Jokowi met Social Welfare Services Recipient (PPKS), both recipients of the Family Hope Program (PKH) and recipients of the Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) of MoSA who were recorded in the Technical Service Unit (UPT) of the MoSA in the Central Java region.

 

The UPTs that participated in providing the ATENSI Package assistance during the presidential visit this time included the Integrated Center “Prof. Dr. Soeharso" Surakarta who assisted 14 PPKS including Adaptive, Electric, and Multipurpose Wheelchairs, entrepreneurship assistance, and assistance to Orphans, Fatherless and Motherless due to Covid 19 in the form of Savings and Additional Nutrition, Integrated Center "Inten Suweno" Cibinong assisted 2 PPKS in the form of 3-wheeled motorbikes, Kartini Temanggung Integrated Center for 2 PPKS in the form of smart sticks, Magelang "Antasena" Center and Pati "Margolaras" Center for 2 Productive Elderly PPKS in the form of entrepreneurship assistance.
