SIGI (August 12, 2020) - Social Rehabilitation Center for Intellectual Disabilities (BRSPDI) "Nipotowe" Palu, which is a unit of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, carried out Rapid Tests COVID-19 to 56 employees and personnel non-civil servant government employees in Sigi on Wednesday (12/08) morning. The COVID-19 Rapid Test is carried out as an initial screening examination to detect antibodies, namely IgM and IgG, which are produced by the body to fight the Coronavirus.
The head of the Palu "Nipotowe" Center, Aladin, gave motivation and reinforcement to all employees and non-civil servant government employees so that they are not afraid to be tested through the Rapid Test COVID-19. This was conveyed by Aladin seeing that some employees were afraid to be examined and some were afraid of needles.
"It's normal for us to feel afraid and anxious sometimes. Even though we don't experience any symptoms, we must still obey the health protocols. The implementation of the Rapid Test COVID-19is an effort to contribute to preventing the transmission of COVID-19," said Aladin in his remarks before the Rapid Test COVID-19activity began at BRSPDI Nipotowe Palu.
Aladin also reminded employees and non-civil servant government employees as the spearhead in providing services to the community, especially social rehabilitation for people with disabilities, so that in situations of adapting to new habits, all employees and non-civil servant government employees continue to comply with the health protocol for handling COVID-19 for the health and safety of all.
The results of the Rapid Test COVID-19 which was carried out on Wednesday (12/08) at the BRSPDI Nipotowe, Palu, today for all 56 employees and non-civil servant government employees, showed that they were non-reactive or free from exposure to the coronavirus. TheRapid Test COVID-19was examined by five health workers from the Biromaru Health Center, Sigi Regency.
BRSPDI "Nipotowe" Palu is committed to complying with the COVID-19 prevention Health protocol in accordance with the direction of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs as stated in the official memorandum applicable within the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, including at Balai Besar, Balai and workshops as UPT Ministry of Social Affairs throughout Indonesia.
"Thank God the COVID-19 rapid test that was carried out today was non-reactive. However, we still have to be vigilant and comply with the recommended health protocols," said Aladin to all employees and non-civil servants of the BRSPDI Nipotowe Palu.
