LOMBOK (23 November 2021) - Head of the Social Welfare Education and Research and Social Counseling Agency, Hartono Laras, explained that the Ministry of Social Affairs provided Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) support of Rp. 611,142,000 to 368 beneficiaries.

 

The assistance consisted of accessibility assistance for 28 beneficiaries of Rp 34,500,000 from Social Rehabilitation Center “Efata” Kupang. From Social Rehabilitation Center “Mahatmiya” Tabanan with a total of 146 beneficiaries, Rp. 298,100,000.

"This is assistance for orphans whose parents left because of Covid-19 by the Minister of Social Affairs. We are grateful to be able to help these children, it's already extraordinary. To use it as best we can for education, not only for eating but continuing their education," said Rachmat.

 

Kadek Lisa Sugiani, a resident of Medaeng, West Mataram, Lombok, accompanied her three children who received aid because her husband died from Covid-19 some time ago.

 

"This is savings assistance for children's needs. Later for school fees. My husband is a private employee while doing a small business. After my husband died, I automatically replaced him. With this assistance, I was greatly helped. Hopefully, in the future this assistance can send this child to a high level of education," said Kadek.

 

In line with Kadek, Purniwati, the Head of LKS Dharma Laksana, said that her children received school supplies from the Ministry of Social Affairs.

 

Because the LKS is in the same location as the secondary school.

 

"In LKS Dharma Laksana, they have religious activities from Monday to Thursday because we have a Hindu LKS. So they have religious activities. Every Friday, we have English, we are assisted by outside NGOs in teaching English children, especially high school students. They also get IT lessons on Saturday.

Sunday we give freedom. Every day we receive donor guests to share the love of happiness," said Purniwati.
