SOUTH SOLOK (13 May 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through the "Alyatama" Center in Jambi sent a Psychosocial Support Service Team (LDP) to the gold mine landslide location in South Solok Regency.

Data obtained through the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of South Solok Regency identified 8 people died and 9 people were injured as a result of the landslide.

Based on the results of the Social Worker's assessment, it is known that the child of the landslide victim did not experience direct psychological trauma but had a situation that was not conducive because the head of the family was a direct victim of this incident which resulted in not fulfilling their daily needs.

In addition to conducting assessments for victims and their families, the Team also reinforced both victims and victims' families so that they remain patient and enthusiastic in the future.

One of the families of the victims expressed their gratitude for the care given by the Ministry of Social Affairs regarding the disaster that befell their family in the hope that this help will provide benefits.

Head of the Social Rehabilitation Division of the South Solok Regency Social Service, Andri Gustova, welcomed the presence of the “Alyatama” team.

"We are very grateful for the care of the Center to the residents who were stricken by the disaster. We hope that a similar incident will not happen again, "said Andri.
