Regional Coordination Meeting for BRSAMPK "Paramita" Program
MATARAM (October 30, 2019) - Director General of Social Rehabilitation, Edi Suharto emphasized that the change in function from nursing home to center is a network-based social rehabilitation.
Panti is the last resort for childcare. The service of the orphanage does not always have to serve children in the orphanage. Orphanage services may be carried out, but child care should not be put away from parents and their families unless the children are in danger. The pattern of parenting or child care should be in the family. Therefore, the "Paramita" Social Rehabilitation Center for Children who need Special Protection (BRSAMPK) may no longer be an orphanage. But it will further develop social rehabilitation programs, social rehabilitation services will have a time limit, there must be a termination which is not long for a maximum of six months, "said Edi.
BRSAMPK "Paramita" must be a factory outlet, no need to open a branch but to open services outside NTB for piloting in the regions, continued Edi.
This activity was held on 30-31 October 2019 at Hotel Puri Indah, attended by 50 participants who were representatives from the Provincial Social Service, Polda, Prosecutors, Courts, Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Bapas, LPKA, LKSA, LPA, Lombok Care, Sakti Peksos, Provincial BNN , Health Service, Education and Culture Service and BRSAMPK "Paramita."
