SURABAYA (22
November 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs is present,
through Social Rehabilitation Center "Soeharso" Surakarta to follow
up on the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini to
conduct an assessment of a Surabaya resident, a mother who is a mobile clown
busker.
Mrs. Sepiati
(47) lives in a rented house in Tambak Asri Village 4/2 RT 002 RW 006 Moro
Krembangan Village, Krembangan District, Surabaya City. In her daily life, she
earns a living by singing as a mobile clown busker from village to village.
This work had to be done to help the family's economy.
However, the
income from this work is not sufficient to meet the daily needs of the family.
Currently, her husband is sick and he has diabetes, so she needs continuous
medical expenses, plus her children's school fees and monthly rent for housing,
so she is forced to be in arrears on her rent for 6 months.
To help
improve and strengthen the economy of Mrs. Sepiati's family, "Soeharso"
Center provides assistance and business capital assistance from the ATENSI
program. "Soeharso" Center also provides motivation and psychosocial
support.
Through the
ATENSI program, "Soeharso" Center assisted in the form of gerobak
(food cart) equipment to Mrs. Sepiati trades vegetables around and business
capital of Rp. 6,000,000.
