"Satria” BRSKPN Conducts Technical Guidance Assessment
BATURRADEN (October 5th, 2019) - “Satria” Social Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Drug Abuse(BRSKP) Baturraden carry out Professional Technical Guidance in the Field of Addiction - Psychosocial Assessment and Therapy.
The activity was carried out in the "Satria" BRSKPN Baturraden hall, October 4-6 2019, which was attended by 43 participants, consisting of technical service officers and counselors from 3 Ministry of Social RI Obligatory Recipient Institutions (IPWL) in the Purbalingga region.
The speakers at this activity were Dorang Luhpuri and Uke Hani Rasalwati from the Social Welfare Polytechnic (Poltekesos) Bandung. The material presented is about the identification of assessment aids and how to use them and the practice of several psychosocial therapies that can be applied to Victims of Drug Abuse (KPN).
Restyaningsih, as the Head of BRSKPN "Satria" Baturraden said that psychosocial therapy was part of the implementation of Progress 5.0. New Platform.
"Social workers and counselors must have the ability of assessment and psychosocial therapy in providing rehabilitation services for victims of drug abuse," Restyaningsih said.
In practice, Uke emphasizes to participants that therapy is an ongoing activity. The therapy used is not only focused on one type because it is adjusted to the needs of service recipients.
"Therapy has also been developed so that it can increase the knowledge of social workers to support service practices," added Dorang.
