"Satria" Center Ramadan Bazaar: A Spectacular Sellout Driven by Resident Enthusiasm
BATURRADEN (May 7, 2021) - As a form of concern for local residents and solidarity among people, the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs through the "Satria" Baturraden Resident Center held a Ramadan Bazaar for residents of Baturraden, Banyumas.
The activity, which lasted for two days from May 6 to 7, 2021, provided various basic necessities in the form of rice, cooking oil, eggs, soy sauce, tea, coffee, sugar, and instant noodles. In addition, Beneficiary (PM) creative products are also sold in the form of various pastries and T-shirts with the Rembaka brand.
To avoid crowds, this Ramadan Bazaar is divided into three points, still in the hall area. In addition, residents who come are required to wear masks and also check their temperature before entering the bazaar area. The committee also provided hand sanitizer, and hand washing soap, and distributed masks free of charge to visitors who did not wear masks.
During the two days this Ramadan Bazaar was held, 236 liters of cooking oil, 275 kilograms of rice, 60 cartons of instant noodles, 200 kilograms of granulated sugar, 200 kilograms of eggs, 68 packs of coffee, 68 packs of tea, 196 pieces of soy sauce, 50 jars of cookies, were sold. and 21 T-shirts.
Rochyati, one of the visitors to the Ramadhan Bazaar said that this activity was beneficial for residents. "I have bought eggs, rice, and cooking oil. Hopefully next year there will be a bazaar like this again," said Rochyati.
Apart from holding the Ramadan Bazaar, this opportunity was also used to provide compensation to the elderly and orphans around the Center area.
Tirah (90), one of the beneficiaries expressed her gratitude. "Alhamdulillah, thank you ma'am for your help," said Tirah while hugging the head of Dharma Wanita Satria Center Baturraden, Arum Fitria, as an expression of her gratitude.
The Head of Satria Center Baturraden, Hendra Permana said that the Bazaar was cheap and this compensation was not only a form of concern but also to increase the purchasing power of local residents ahead of the Eid Al-Fitr.
