Series of 26th HLUN Activities in Salopa District, Tasikmalaya Regency
TASIKMALAYA
REGENCY (May 29, 2022) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through the Wyata Guna Center Bandung
held a series of activities for the 26th National Elderly Day (HLUN) in 2022
which was held in Salopa and Cipatujah Districts, Tasikmalaya Regency by providing
integrated services to the elderly.
Integrated
services in Salopa and Cipatujah sub-districts were provided to 101 elderly.
The integrated services provided are the provision of ATENSI in the form of
meeting basic needs, nutrition, medicines, clothing, equipment for the contents
of Uninhabitable Houses (RUTILAHU), assistance for elderly accessibility aids
(wheelchairs, hearing aids, reading glasses, and 3 leg canes), eye
examinations, and free health services.
The handover of
the assistance was held on Sunday, May 29, 2022, to coincide with the HLUN Peak
Event at the Green House of the Mandalahayu Village Office, Salopa District.
The assistance was symbolically given by the Head of the Wyata Guna Center, Sri
Harijati to Salopa Sub-District Head Drs. A. Amin was continued by the Village
Welfare to 101 elderly, namely 87 elderly women and 14 elderly men, in the form
of ATENSI with a total of IDR 106,756,800,-
This assistance
consists of 101 Elderly Assistance Packages in the form of Nutrition, Clothing,
and Medicines, 1 Basic Food Package, 91 Packages of Disability Aids in the form
of wheelchairs, hearing aids, reading glasses, and 3 prong canes), and 1 set of
RUTILAHU housing contents such as mattresses, pillows, bolsters, cupboards, 2
carpets, 1 set of plastic table chairs, a thermos of hot water, and 3 cloths.
The preparation
for the HLUN Peak Event continues to be carried out carefully by the Wyata Guna
Center in collaboration with the sub-district, village, muspika, and
social companions. For 202 ATENSI packages have been provided for the two
sub-districts served by the Wyata Guna Center. As well as collaboration with
the Social Security and Protection Directorate of MoSA in the implementation of
RTLH assistance for the elderly.
Mak Iti, one of
the recipients, expressed her happiness, "I am so happy because I didn't
have one like this before. Thank everyone," she said.
