PALANGKARAYA
(24 November 2021) -- The Minister of Social Affairs, Tri
Rismaharini distributed Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) support to
382 Beneficiaries (PM) in Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan, Wednesday (24/11).
The total ATENSI support of Rp. 851,848,500 was symbolically handed over by the
Minister of Social Affairs at the Sanaman Mantikei Sports Center, Palangkaraya.
The assistance was managed by Social Rehabilitation Center “Budi Luhur”
Banjarbaru amounting to Rp. 239,848,500 as well as Social Rehabilitation Center
“Gau Mabaji” Gowa providing Rp. 612,000,000.
ATENSI support
was given to 382 beneficiaries which included savings assistance for 31
orphans, fatherless and motherless, accessibility assistance for 26 persons
with disabilities, and basic needs assistance for 325 elderly.
On that
occasion, the Minister of Social Affairs motivated the children of the
beneficiaries not to give up easily with the circumstances they face.
"The
most important thing to remember is not because you are smart and rich, but
because you are willing. Willpower is the key. There should be no surrender
because we pay attention to you. From now on you say I can do it," said
the Social Minister.
She said
each beneficiary child will receive the assistance of Rp. 200,000. "Every
month your savings will be filled, so don't lose it. You can check, every month
you get Rp 200,000," she said.
According to
her, this saving can be used for school fees. "You can't quit school.
It's for your school fees," she said.
Nuraini
(15), a student of SMK 3 Palangkaraya said she was happy to receive ATENSI support
from the Ministry of Social Affairs.
After the
death of her parents, this girl who dreams of becoming a designer lives with
her sister. "I will use this aid for school fees. Thank you, Mrs. Social
Minister", she said.
Rohaimi said
the same thing. The man from Kapuas received wheelchair assistance worth Rp.
1,650,000,-.
