Strengthening Children and Families for Anak Dalam Tribe
SAROLANGUN (December 14th 2019) - The Social Rehabilitation Center for Children who Need Special Protection (BRSAMPK) "Alyatama" in Jambi carried out social rehabilitation activities through the Child and Family Strengthening Gathering for 21 parents and the Government of the Social Welfare Service Recipients (PPKS) of the Remote Indigenous People of Anak Dalam who located in Guruntuo Village, Mandiangin District, Sarolangun Regency.
This activity was carried out by Jerikson as a social worker, Ustad Fajar as the mental spiritual guide, Nurhasanah as the section head, Laras and Rita Hayanai as the administrator and Doctor Winda as a medical team and in collaboration with the Mandiangin Community Health Center as a health team.
The activity is divided into several parts, namely strengthening the parents with Doctor Winda as a resource. Doctor Winda conveyed about healthy lifestyles and women's reproductive health. Nurhasanah also delivered material related to early protection so that sexual abuse and sodomy between children does not occur. After that, a health check was carried out at the Temenggung house by nurses and doctors.
Then the provision of fun games carried out by social workers and mental and spiritual therapists for children in SAD. At the end of the activity, BRSAMPK "Alyatama" in Jambi provided stimulant assistance for PPKS and their parents.
