Tasting Day: A Show for Kabisa Barista with Disabilities
BANDUNG (November 3, 2019) - It is a matter of pride for the Barista Program Social Welfare Service Recipient (PPKS), the Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Visual Sensory Disabilities (BRSPDSN) "Wyata Guna" Bandung to serve coffee for participants of the 2020 RKA-KL Review which is representatives from the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) under the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, Ministry of Social Affairs Republic Indonesia.
The event, which took place from 30 October-1 November 2019 at the BRSPDSN "Wyata Guna" Bandung Auditorium, was opened by the Inspector General, Dadang Iskandar. The next day Inspector for Social Rehabilitation, Hasbullah and Head of Program and Reporting at the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, Aty Setiawati had the opportunity to taste coffee concocted by the Barista PPKS program. Dadang is very proud of the Barista program PPKS because their coffee is praised for its delicious and extraordinary taste. Moreover, the variant served is the moccacino with palm sugar which is his favourite.
This is truly an award for the PPKS
barista program to continue to improve their ability to mix coffee by
innovating to create the latest coffee menu variants. This shows that people
with visual disabilities can become professional baristas who are able to be independent
in their present and future lives.
