The Active Role of Volunteers is the Key to Build a Drug-Free Prosperous Village
BATURRADEN (October 16th, 2019) - "Satria" Social Rehabilitation Center for Victims of Drug Abuse (BRSKPN) Baturraden held a Socialization Program for Social Rehabilitation Services in Kemutug Lor Village, Baturraden District, Banyumas Regency.
The activity carried out at the Kemutug Lor Village rehabilitation center is a series of the "Declaration of a Drug-Free Prosperous Village" and Kemutug Lor Village was chosen as the pilot project in the program. The participants of this activity consisted of local community leaders, police station, village officials, Integrated Healthcare Center cadres, PKK cadres, and volunteers. Also attending this activity was the Baturraden head of subdistrict.
Benny Edhi Susanto, as the Head of the Social Assessment and Advocacy Section, said that the long-standing cooperation with the village has added to the motivation of residents to succeed in the "Declaration of a Drug-Free Prosperous Village".
On the same occasion, the Head of the Social Rehabilitation Services Section, Hendra Permana emphasized again that this activity did not stop after the launching, but will be continued.
"Preparation of a follow-up program needs to be done and we will assist. For this we need volunteer readiness to remain active and the participation of Kemutug Lor Village residents," said Hendra.
On this occasion also handed over a "My Family Free of Drugs" sticker from "Satria" BRSKP Drug Baturraden to the Head of Kemutug Lor Village. The sticker will later be posted on each resident's home. It is planned that the "Declaring Village of Drug-Free Prosperous Villages" will take place at the end of October.
