The Beneficiaries of "Paramita" Center Do Not Stop Creating Accessibility Facilities
MATARAM
(12 July 2021) - In order to welcome
the Social Rehabilitation Center towards multi-service and multi functionality,
the Ministry of Social Affairs through the “Paramita” Center in Mataram
continues to create innovations and creative ideas that have an impact on the
availability of accessible facilities for all kinds of disabilities as the
persons needing social welfare services (PPKS). After successfully creating a
water sensor tool for the visually impaired, currently the Beneficiary (PM) of “Paramita”
is able to make a table that is accessible for people with disabilities with
wheelchairs.
The Head of the "Paramita" Center, I
Ketut Supena said that his party welcomed this innovation, "We always
welcome our children's creative ideas, such as this adaptive table. Of course
in the future we will improve the shape and variety," he said. This table
has specifications that are quite different from other tables.
This is because there is a large enough space
at the bottom of the table for Persons with Disabilities who use wheelchairs,
so this is a positive thing where Persons with Disabilities can hold meetings
with colleagues, co-workers or just sit back and relax with family at one table
same. All goods produced by the beneficiaries are displayed in the Public
Service Room which is also part of the Paramita ATENSI Creation Center.
