The Essence of Adoption with a Series of Care
MATARAM (October 30, 2019) - Essence of adoption, related to the continuum of care, namely the best care for children to get affection in the nuclear family, then kinship care, and foster care.
Director General of Social Rehabilitation Ministry of Social Affairs Republic Indonesia, Edi Suharto, in his direction at the Assistance Team for Adoption Licensing Team in the Regions which was held at Hotel Lombok Raya said that the regulations related to adoption of children were very complete, from laws, government regulations, social minister regulations to regulations of Director General regarding Technical Guidelines for Appointment Implementation Procedures.
Furthermore, Edi Suharto hopes that the trial of the Adoption Licensing Advisory Team (PIPA Team) in each region can be held at least three times a year with the regional budget.
"Immediately we can develop a technology-based adoption process system through a website or application, so that adoption data can be updated at any time or real time data. In addition, regions can also create District / City Selection Teams to discuss adoption cases in Indonesia regional level, "said Edi.
The activity which was held on 28-31 October 2019 was attended by 52 participants who were representatives of the Provincial Social Service Agency, District / City Social Service Agency, Religious Courts, Police, Health Service, District Courts, Dukcapil Service, Sayap Ibu Foundation, Sakti Peksos, LPA, PPA and the Ministry of Social Affairs RSA Directorate.
