The Ministry of Social Affairs Distributes ATENSI Assistance for Putra Martonis
GUNUNG SITOLI (5 July 2021) – The Ministry of
Social Affairs through the Bengkulu "Dharma Guna" Social
Rehabilitation Center distributed Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI)
assistance for Putra Martonis in Gunung Sitoli City, North Sumatra Province.
Putra is the beneficiary in response to a
case where crisis intervention has previously been carried out by providing
ATENSI assistance for basic needs and linking Putra with educational
institutions that can provide therapy for him.
Then, Dharma Guna Center conducted a
follow-up assessment for Putra, and based on the results of the assessment, to
improve the economic capacity of Putra's family, the Center provided capital
assistance for a basic food stall that would be run by his grandmother.
This is done so that in the future, the
son's family can be financially independent to take care of and care for the
son so that they can continue to access the son to health and education
services.
As an initial stimulant, Dharma Guna
directed and referred Putra to get therapy at the Sasmi Special School/SLB for
the treatment of his autism. This activity was held from 4-6 July. The Dharma
Guna team spent on necessities to open a shop in Gunung Sitoli City.
For the delivery of ATENSI assistance for
Putra, the Dharma Guna Bengkulu Team was accompanied by the Gunungsitoli City
Social Service, Nur Misnawati Arepah, Head of Social Security, Head of the
Environment Yaspin Seboa and Gunung Sitoli PPD companion Melinus Mendrofah.
Putra's family is very grateful to the
Ministry of Social Affairs and the Center has cared for Putra and are very
concerned about his future and provide an opportunity for us to
be economically independent. "Hopefully this assistance can be developed
to provide welfare for the son," said Marvikatin, Social Worker.
