CANBERRA, AUSTRALIA (February 4, 2020) - Head of the Social Welfare Data Center of Ministry of Social Affairs, Said Mirza Pahlevi, had the opportunity to take part in a short course organized by the Australian Government through the Australia Awards program.
The short course, which was held for two weeks from 27 January to 7 February 2020 in Brisbane and Canberra, focused on discussing social protection policies and institutional arrangements as well as data integration between government agencies that have a role in delivering national program transfers.
The purpose of this short course was to learn about the overall social protection system in Australia, institutional arrangements, and also similarities and differences of social protection systems between Indonesia and Australia. It was also to identify the technology used by the Australian Government that can be implemented in Indonesia, as well as the data collection and data usage that includes privacy, data security, management information systems, data warehouse architecture and the use of blockchain.
