BANDUNG (July 5, 2021) - The Ministry of Social Affairs through "Wyata Guna" Social Rehabilitation Center in Bandung distributes tools provided by the Thisable Foundation in collaboration with BUMN. The aids provided are 8 wheelchairs, 4 sets of crutches (cane aids) and 5 folding sticks.

This activity is an implementation of a service that collaborates with a network of partners. "Wyata Guna" Center always responds to problems or complaints from the community considering that currently "Wyata Guna" Center implements the Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) service program.

The handover was attended by the Head of the Bandung "Wyata Guna" Center, Sudarsono, Head of the Social Rehabilitation Section for Persons with Disabilities, Bandung City Social Service, Dewi Indra Afianty, Companions for Persons with Disabilities of Bojongloa Kaler District, and representatives of beneficiaries. The handover of aid was carried out symbolically considering that currently, the Greater Bandung area is still implementing PPKM (Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions) due to the high spread of the COVID-1. Activities are carried out while complying with Health protocols.

Thisable Foundation entrusts the distribution of this aid to be coordinated by the "Wyata Guna" Center. Thisable Foundation is one of the partners who maintain good relations with "Wyata Guna" Center in carrying out activities related to service programs for people with disabilities.

Head of "Wyata Guna" Sudarsono said that in the future the "Wyata Guna" would further expand its partners to be able to cooperate in providing services, especially for people with disabilities. With more partners working together, it is hoped that service delivery will not be limited to the Center’s budget.
