"Wyata Guna" Center Promotes ATENSI Program
BANDUNG (November 12, 2020) - The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs through the Bandung "Wyata Guna" Center continues to socialize the Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) program to stakeholders and the wider community. The head of the Bandung “Wyata Guna” Center, Sudarsono, gave an explanation and understanding of ATENSI to members of PIA Ardhya Garini Branch 5/G.II Wingdiktek TNI AU representatives from Bandung during a working visit to the “Wyata Guna” Center.
Sudarsono said that the social rehabilitation services provided by the "Wyata Guna" Center consisted of mental therapy, psychosocial therapy, and livelihood therapy that were able to create Persons with Visual Disabilities (PDSN) who were sovereign, independent and have personalities based on values and the spirit of mutual cooperation. Until now, there have been many Social Welfare Service Recipients (PPKS) of "Wyata Guna" Center in Bandung who are independent and successful in their lives.
The visit of PIA Ardhya Garini Branch 5/G.II Wingdiktek TNI AU Bandung representative was an implementation of the work program of PIA Ardhya Garini's social section, led by Mrs. Iman Gozali. The purpose of this visit is to provide social assistance and to see first-hand the services for Persons with Visual Disabilities at “Wyata Guna” Center Bandung.
The group went around to see the various facilities and skill activities in the Center, besides taking the time to buy souvenirs made by PPKS, they didn't forget to enjoy coffee made by the disabled barista at Cafe More. “The coffee is delicious, not inferior to the coffee brewed by a professional barista. Hopefully Cafe More will continue to grow and be better known by the public," said Mrs. Iman Gozali.
