10-02-2020
MAKASSAR (February 9, 2020) - The Directorate of Poverty
Handling Region III held a Joint Business Group Social Assistance Capacity
Building Activity (KUBE) "Increasing the Competence of KUBE Social
Assistants Towards Professional KUBE Management" at a hotel in Makassar
(9/2).
The activity was
opened directly by the Director General of PFM (Dirjen PFM), Andi ZA Dulung and
attended by the Director of PFM Region III, Nur Pujianto, Head of Social
Service Agency of South Sulawesi Province, officials within the Directorate
General of PFM and KUBE Social Assistants
In his
direction, the Director General of PFM explained to the KUBE Social Assistants,
that KUBE is a very important program. "The Minister of Social Affairs has
reported to the President of the Republic of Indonesia that KUBE be upgraded
into a superior program," explained the Director General of PFM. The
success of the KUBE program is of course inseparable from the role of a
companion who can positively influence and encourage KPM so that the KPM can
help itself.
Furthermore, the
Director General of PFM explained that KPM cannot continue to be given
assistance. The Ministry of Social Affairs has a KUBE program to encourage KPM
to prosper and graduate. In connection with the KUBE, the Director General of
PFM asked the KUBE Social Assistants to collaborate with the Family Hope
Program (PKH), the Food Social Assistance, Regency / City Regional Coordinator
(Korda), and District Social Welfare Workers (TKSK) in an effort social
empowerment to alleviate poverty.
KUBE social
facilitators can collaborate with PKH or Korda social assistants to market
products made by KUBE. "Currently, the basic food program is worth IDR
150,000 and there are many types that can be purchased by KPM apart from rice
and eggs such as meat, fish and chicken," explained the Director General
of PFM.
According to the
Director General of PFM, KUBE which is engaged in agriculture or livestock can
sell its products to the nearest e-warong so that the marketing of the KUBE
products can help KPM. In addition, the Director General of PFM also explained
that the collaboration between these assistants can provide variety in
e-warong. "For example, this month there are rice, eggs, tempeh, and
chicken available in e-warong, the following month there are many kinds of fish
or vegetables," explained the Director General of PFM.
Furthermore, the Director General of PFM also reminded the assistants that KUBE which has good and developed characteristics can apply for additional loan capital through People's Business Credit (KUR), Ultra Micro Financing (UMi), and other programs that have been prepared by the government for small businesses that have developed.
