DONGGALA (July 22, 2020) - A total of 88 residents atDonggala Regency with disabilities received assistance from the Government. The assistance in the form of basic necessities was sourced from the Ministry of Social Affairs through the Palu "Nipotowe" Center for Social Rehabilitation of People with Intellectual Disabilities which was handed over to the Donggala Regency Government for people with disabilities.

In that activity, the Head of the Center, Aladin appreciated the response of the Donggala Regency Government which was very fast in collecting data on 88 people with disabilities in Donggala Regency. He also felt proud of the attitude of the Regent of Donggala who was considered very populist. "We are grateful to be present in this special place. Not just anyone can enter the Regent's office, but here all the people can enter. This is extraordinary, meaning that the regent is populist," he said.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Donggala, also appreciated the concern of the Ministry of Social Affairs through the Center which has provided many assistance to persons with disabilities. Both from food assistance and training.

Kasman said, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, all people felt the impact. Including residents of Donggala Regency who are also still faced with post-disaster problems. "Therefore, this assistance will be very beneficial for residents, especially our citizens with disabilities," he explained.

After delivering his remarks, the Regent accompanied by the Head of the Center and the Acting Head of the Social Service, Akris Fatah Yunus, symbolically handed over the food aid to the recipient representatives. The handover of aid was represented by the 2 closest sub-districts, namely Banawa and Central Banawa sub-districts as many as 10 people.
