In her statement, Dahlia admitted that she was very grateful to be able to withdraw from PKH (self-graduation) and no longer receive assistance from the government. "Thank God, I was able to get out of this program so that I could be replaced with other poor people," said Dahlia.

The statement was made on the sidelines of the Technical Coordination Meeting and Quality Improvement of the Bogor Regency PKH Human Resources, Thursday (6/8).

"I've been a PKH participant for 3.5 years. However, as my husband's income started to improve, we decided to return the aid to the government. We chose to withdraw from receiving the aid," said Dahlia.

Since deciding to graduate independently, Dahlia said that now she can breathe a sigh of relief because she has been able to get out of the problems of poverty that had confined her and her family.

"Thanks to the help and guidance from the PKH Facilitator, thank God, my family's income can now reach 4-5 million every month," she continued.

On the same occasion, Secretary of the Bogor Regency Social Service, Yanti Gunayanti, explained that PKH is very helpful for the Regency Government's program (Pemkab). ) in terms of poverty alleviation. He added that one of the indicators of the success of the local government's performance is the reduction in the poverty rate.

For this reason, her party emphasizes that an increase in the number of graduates must continue to be encouraged so that other underprivileged citizens can get their turn to receive PKH social assistance. Bogor, will try hard so that empty quota of KPM PKH graduates can be filled by other poor people, "said Yanti.

Until July 2020, the poverty rate in Bumi Tegar Beriman jumped to 9.6 percent. Previously, poverty in Bogor Regency was around 6.6 percent. The increasing poverty rate is inseparable from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic that is still happening today.
