Ahead of HKSN, Governor of Bangka Belitung Calls for Spirit of Social Solidarity to Help People Affected by Tornado
BANGKA BELITUNG (December 15, 2021) - Ahead of the 2021 National Social Solidarity Day
(HKSN), it will be held in Bangka Belitung Province, starting with Cross-Border
Social Solidarity (LBKS).
During the preparations, a tornado hit a residential
area in Bencah Village, South Bangka Regency, Monday (13/12).
Armed with the spirit of HKSN, the Babel provincial
government, PT PLN Tbk Bangka Belitung Working Area, and the humanitarian agency
Asia Muslim Charity Foundation (AMCF) moved quickly to provide humanitarian
assistance.
The Governor of the Babel Islands, Erzaldi Rosman,
directly handed over assistance in a series of LBKS activities held by the PMD
Social Service of the Babel Islands Province in the context of the 64th
National Social Solidarity Day Month of Service.
"With this assistance, I hope it will be
useful and ease the burden on the villagers who are victims of the
tornado," said Governor Erzaldi, Tuesday (14/12).
The Governor of Babel took the time to talk and
provide reinforcement to the villagers who were victims of the hurricane
natural disaster whose houses where they lived were damaged.
"This disaster has a lesson and uses it as a
momentum for self-introspection so that we can become a better person,"
said the Governor of Babel.
In addition, the Governor also gave his
appreciation to all officers from the Bencah Village government, the TNI/Polri,
the Regional Government Social Office Tagana team, and the Babel Islands BPBD
apparatus who had worked together to assist.
