Ahead of the 76th Indonesian Independence Day, the Ministry of Social Affairs Holds Bazaar and Exhibition
JAKARTA (12 August 2021) – In order to welcome the 76th Independence Day of Republic Indonesia, Ministry of Social Affairs holds a bazaar and exhibition. The activity was held in courtyard of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Central Jakarta, for two days, from Thursday (12/8) to Friday (13/8).
This exhibition is attended by all of work unit under the Ministry of Social Affairs, including the Directorate General of Social Protection and Security (Ditjen Linjamsos). Unlike the other booths, the Directorate General of Social Protection and Security comes with a large 6 x 10 meter evacuation camp. The presence of red and white evacuee camp aimed to introduce to visitors that the Ministry of Social Affairs has a large evacuee camp with suitable specifications for evacuees to use in disaster site.
There are some items on display at the red and white stand. These items are grouped into three themes based on three Directorate who was in Directorate General of Social Protection and Security. First, Directorate of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims, which display some tools for handling natural disaster such as ready-to-eat food, family kids, kids ware, food wear kitchen utensils, camp, and mattresses.
Second, the Directorate of Social Protection for Social Disaster Victims, which displays attributes of peace pioneers, ranging from children’s play dolls, goody bag, Physical Support Service (PSS) vests, contact games, and set of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Third, the Directorate of Family Social Security (JSK), which displays products from Beneficiary Families (KPM), Family Hope Program (PKH), including accessories, flower pot, handicraft from oil and coffee wrap, turmeric, tamarind, and, nutmeg extract.
