Anticipating Disasters, Ministry of Social Affairs Distributes Social Granary Logistics in Wondama Bay

The Ministry of Social Affairs is again filling in logistics for the Social Granary in Wasior District, Teluk Wondama Regency, West Papua.

In Wasior District, a Social Granary has been built since 2022. This is done to shorten logistics distribution time if a disaster occurs. Wasior District is an area often hit by floods almost every year.

Even in 2010, Wasior District was hit by flash floods. Meanwhile, logistics access is quite far and takes a long time. Therefore, a Social Granary in Wasior is necessary.
