MAKASSAR (25 November 2019) - Minister of Social Affairs, Juliari P. Batubara appreciated the performance of human resources (HR) and local government in the Family Hope Program (PKH) through the 2019 PKH Appreciation Day event in Makassar, South Sulawesi (Sulsel).

The Director General of Social Protection and Security, Harry Hikmat, representing the Minister of Social Affairs, officially opened the event, which was packaged in the form of a PKH Appreciation Day 2019 Talkshow and Familiarity Night, Monday (25/11) evening.

Harry said the PKH Appreciation Day event was called an event to provide motivation to all actors who have been involved in implementing PKH.

"The key in judging and those who are guaranteed to get appreciation are those who have seriously succeeded in showing that PKH has an impact on increasing the welfare level of the families they have been assisting or achieving independent prosperous graduation", said Harry.

This, said Harry, was shown by the existence of clear evidence of a number of achievements from PKH families who graduated, so that they were more prosperous and no longer dependent on government assistance.

"That is part of the key point that we want to see together later in the series of Appreciation Day events for Family Hope Program," he concluded.
