B2P3KS Yogyakarta Holds Public Relations Dissemination

YOGYAKARTA (November 1, 2019) – Yogyakarta Social Welfare Service Research and Development Center (B2P3KS) held a Public Relations Dissemination. The event was opened by the Minister's Senior Advisor for Social Accessibility as well as Acting Head of Public Relations Bureau Sonny W. Manalu who conveyed the policy direction of the Ministry of Social Affairs in the field of Public Relations, namely "Making the Ministry of Social Affairs Close to the People, Popular in the Government Environment, and Harmony with Legislative Institutions".

In the event which was attended by 30 structural and functional officials in the B2P3KS Yogyakarta environment as well as several structural officials of the Public Relations Bureau, Pantyo Nugroho as the Head of B2P3KS Administration who represented the Head of the Center, emphasized that currently the center's focus is to build the Branding of Advanced Indonesian Researchers.

"B2P3KS acts as a Center of Analysis on Social Impacts or called Amdas, which is disseminated through several scientific activities such as Workshops, Research Forums, Social Media and also in International Seminars," he explained.

The discussion session led by Dian Setiawan as the Head of the Inter-Agency Relations Section went interactively. One of the most senior researchers at B2P3KS Yogya, Ikawati asked how the communication strategy should be carried out by Balai in disseminating the Ministry of Social Affairs programs, such as social assistance, including BPNT, PKH and KUBE.

"There are still many people in Yogyakarta who think that the assistance provided comes from local officials. Even though the assistance comes from the Ministry of Social Affairs," said Ikawati.

The meeting ended with the delivery of the Head of the Inter-Institutional Relations Division regarding the official social media accounts of the Ministry of Social Affairs.
