YOGYAKARTA (August 12, 2022) - To celebrate the 77th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, Yogyakarta Social Welfare Education and Training Center (BBPPKS) held several competitions on 11-12 August 2022.

On the first day, there were shouting competitions between teams, gloves soccer competitions, sniper shooting, F1 Racing, and the national anthem choir competition. Then on the second day, BBPPKS Jogja Fashion Week was held which featured various creative themes of each team, a competition to wear pants without touching, and an independence dance competition.

The competition activity was participated by all employees of  BBPPKS Yogyakarta environment which were divided into six teams to compete for the champion in each competition.

Eva Rahmi Kasim, Head of BBPPKS Yogyakarta released a red and white balloon and opened the competition on Thursday, August 11, 2022. All employees of BBPPKS Yogyakarta participated in the activity with enthusiasm, spirit, and joy, as well as funny, exciting, and funny expressions from the contestants and supporters.

BBPPKS Yogyakarta will also hold a blood donation on August 16, 2022, at PMI Sleman Regency which will be attended by employees. Furthermore, at the peak commemoration, an online ceremony will be held at the Yogyakarta BBPPKS Hall on August 17, 2022.

Eva hoped that this activity will serve as a means for employees to enliven the 77th Indonesian Independence Day in addition to fostering sportsmanship, fighting spirit, and cohesiveness for all Yogyakarta BBPPKS employees.

"It's not winning or losing that we're looking for, but creativity, cohesiveness, and solidarity between teams that are the main goals of all competitions," said Ujang Taofik Hidayat while encouraging all employees.
