MAKASSAR (September 20, 2019) - The Social Rehabilitation Center for Children Needing Special Protection (BRSAMPK) 'Toddopuli" Makassar bids farewell to four Psychology Students at Makassar State University who have completed their Alternative Work Program (KKA) for two months at the Balai.

The farewell was carried out in the Balai Meeting Room which was attended by the Head of BRSAMPK "Toddopuli" Makassar, Head of Sub Division of Administration, Head of Social Assessment and Advocacy, Social Worker as the field supervisor, the student supervisor lecturer and four KKA students.

Christiana Junus as the Head of BRSAMPK "Toddopuli" expressed her gratitude for the cooperation of KKA Students in the Faculty of Psychology, Makassar State University, who made their contributions during their stay at Balai.

"We hope that this collaboration can continue because there is no psychologist at our Balai," Christiana said.

In addition, Christiana also stated that the actual study program for students is in the field or in the community. Therefore, she reminded students not to be afraid of making mistakes because they were still in the learning process.

Meanwhile, Kurniati Zainuddin as the supervisor also expressed his gratitude because the psychology students of Makassar State University were allowed to apply their knowledge in BRSAMPK "Toddopuli" Makassar.

"In the future Makassar State University hopes to be able to send students back to carry out KKA activities at the Balai," Kurniati hoped.

As a social laboratory, BRSAMPK "Toddopuli" is open to anyone who wants to apply knowledge, comparative studies and other educational activities.

Four Psychology Students who had the opportunity to apply knowledge at the "Toddopuli" Makassar BRSAMPK were Siti Auliana, Muh. Nizar Alfansyuri, Irwan Widiyanto, and Andi Muhammad Nur Ikhsan. The knowledge they receive on the lecture bench can be applied in providing assistance to service recipients.

It is expected that in the future collaboration between BRSAMPK "Toddopuli" Makassar and the world of education, especially in the service area of ​​the hall, can be better established to print students who are ready to enter the workforce and enrich knowledge, so that they can provide excellent service for service recipients.
