BRSKPN "Satria" Coordination of Launching a Drug-Free Prosperous Village
BATURRADEN (October 3, 2019) - Institute for Social Rehabilitation of Victims of Drug Abuse (BRSKPN) "Satria" Baturraden conducts coordination activities with community leaders Kemutug Lor Village, Baturraden District, Banyumas Regency. The coordination that was carried out was regarding the Declaration of a Drug-Free Village Prosperous Village initiated by BRSKPN "Satria".
In addition to coordinating, the purpose of this activity is to form volunteers who are committed to handling drug problems. The volunteers received an explanation of the general picture related to the tasks to be performed.
Benny Edhi Susanto as Head of the Social Advocacy and Assessment Section said that volunteers need to be equipped with knowledge related to drug abuse. "Provision of knowledge is important to support the process going forward," said Benny.
On the same occasion, the Head of the Social Rehabilitation Services Section, Hendra Permana said that the Declaration of a Drug-Free Prosperous Village was a momentum to encourage community enthusiasm.
"Kemutug Lor Village is a pilot project for a Drug-Free Prosperous Village in the Baturraden area. It will not stop here, in the future activities will continue and be developed by residents through youth activities, religious studies, and other community organizations," Hendra said.
It is planned that several activities will be carried out as a follow-up to the coordination of the preparation of the "Declaration of a Drug-Free Village".
