JAKARTA (October 3, 2019) - As part of the social rehabilitation process, the Social Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Deaf Sensory Disabilities (BRSPDSRW) "Melati" Jakarta held an Entrepreneurship Workshop for Beneficiaries of Class II of 2019. This activity was opened directly by Pujiyanto as the Head of BRSPDSRW "Melati" Jakarta.

"This activity is very beneficial for the beneficiaries to increase their knowledge and after graduating from the Balai the beneficiary can become an entrepreneur or work according to the skills he has," Pujiyanto said in his remarks.

The workshop also invited two speakers who had been successful in the entrepreneurial world namely Rafi Abdurrahman Ridwan and Al Islamabad.

Rafi Abdurrahman Ridwan is a fashion designer with a hearing impairment at an international level who has held fashion shows four times in America. In addition, he won the world record as the Youngest Deaf Designer with International Achievement.

In this event, Rafi provides motivation in independent business. Not to forget, he gave his design clothes to several beneficiaries as souvenirs.

Meanwhile, Al Islamabad, is a social-based businessman. The founder of Alifa Enterprise has a business in the creative economy that produces a variety of products such as sign language clothing, wooden cutting board paintings, painting bags, painting wallets, painted canvas, painting cushions.

The material presented by Al Islamabad revolves around entrepreneurial tips and tricks. In the last session of material presentation, he conveyed his motivation to the Beneficiary (PM), "Happy life is not about achieving success, but about doing what we love."

The entrepreneurship workshop that was held in the Multipurpose Hall of BRSPDSRW "Melati" was attended by 48 participants consisting of 40 beneficiaries and 8 employees as accompanying officers.
