JAKARTA (October 30, 2019) - Recruitment of PT. Burger King Indonesia for Beneficiaries (PM) Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Hearing and Speaking Sensory Disabilities (BRSPDSRW) “Melati” Jakarta, was held last September. The results were very satisfying because 20 PM passed and were accepted as employees. A total of 20 PMs will then take part in On the Job Training in Bali.

For the first phase, 10 PM has departed on Monday (28/10/2019). Head of Center "Melati", Pujianto, released PM's departure from Balai at Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport Jakarta. He left a message that PMs could follow the entire training process with discipline and hard work. "You carry the good name of Center and must show good work ethics and attitudes, work hard and be disciplined to comply with all company rules," said Pujianto. This is important as part of the success of the Center in implementing livelihood therapy for PMs which refers to the 5.0 NP Progress.

The next day, the 10 Beneficiaries immediately underwent training at one of the Burger King outlets located on Sunset Road Bali. It should be noted that 80% of employees at the training location outlets are persons with deaf sensory disabilities. Based on the reports we received from the assistant and Burger King, all beneficiaries were very enthusiastic and could quickly understand the materials taught by the trainers.

The On the Job Training activity lasts for two weeks, starting from 29 October to 11 November 2019. After completing the training process, they will be placed in Burger King outlets spread across Jabodetabek. We sincerely hope that these graduates of Balai Beneficiary for people with disabilities undergo successful training and work well at Burger King. For the second stage of training for 10 other Balai Beneficiaries, departure to Bali will be held on 2 December 2019.
