Ceremony of Honor and Sacred Reflection on the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia
JAKARTA (August 16, 2024) - The Ceremony of Honor and Sacred Reflection (AKRS) was solemnly held in commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at the Main National Heroes Cemetery (TMPNU) Kalibata, Jakarta, Friday (17/8/2024).
Acting as the Inspector of Ceremonies, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin led the tribute to the heroes who had fallen fighting for Indonesia's independence.
The Vice President accompanied by Wury Ma'ruf Amin at around 23.50 WIB arrived at TMPNU Kalibata and was welcomed by the Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini.
At exactly 00.00 WIB, the ceremony began with the report of the Commander of Ceremonies, Colonel Mar. Achmad Hadi Al-Hasny to the Vice President as the ceremony inspector.
As the ceremonial inspector, the Vice President then read the script of the ceremony of honor and holy reflection.
The series of commemorations of the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia will be continued with the Red and White flag raising ceremony in the context of the Seconds of the Proclamation of Independence and the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.
