Collaboration between MoSA and the National Nutrition Agency in the Free Nutritious Meal Program
JAKARTA (November 21, 2024) — The Ministry of Social Affairs and the National Nutrition Agency will collaborate to make the Free Nutritious Meals program a success. This collaboration will be carried out by utilizing the social assistants owned by the Ministry of Social Affairs to support field technical personnel.
If needed, the Beneficiary Groups (KPM) can also be utilized to make this flagship program of President Prabowo Subianto a success.
The National Nutrition Agency itself plans to form service units below with a target of every 3 thousand school children to be served by this service unit.
Several people will be involved in this service unit, one of which in the future will likely be filled by the social pillars owned by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
In addition to involving social pillars such as PKH and Tagana assistants, the National Nutrition Agency will also collaborate with local residents who are most likely those who have been the recipient groups of social assistance commonly called KPM (Beneficiary Groups).
They will be empowered to plant various vegetables and provide necessities. Therefore, with their involvement, it is certain that it will also raise the economic status.
