Commemorating HLUN, Pusdiklatbangprof Trains Officers at Tresna Werdha Center
JAKARTA, (May 30, 2022) - In commemoration of the 26th
National Elderly Day (HLUN), the Center for Education, Training and
Professional Development (Pusdiklatbangprof) of the Ministry of Social Affairs
by its duties and functions for training, held a Short Training on Psychosocial Support Services (LDP)
for the elderly.
The selection of LDP material is adjusted to this year's HLUN theme,
namely "Healthy Elderly, Strong Indonesia". Health for the elderly is
not only physical but also psychological/mental. Therefore, LDP for the
elderly is one of the important things that need to be done by people who take
care of the elderly, one of which is the officers in Elderly Center.
This training activity is located at Tresna Werdha Center Budi Mulia 3,
Jakarta on May 30, 2022. The Pusdiklatbangprof parties involved in this
activity include Widyaiswara (trainer), Learning Technology Designer,
Social Worker, and Social Counselor. This training was attended by 30 participants
consisting of social workers and social officers. Participants were given a material introduction to the function, form, and importance of LDP for the
elderly.
The material can be directly applied by the nursing staff, after
receiving the material, the staff members are invited to practice LDP,
including empty chair therapy to the elderly, and the residents of Tresna Werdha
Center.
