SERANG, BANTEN (December 6th 2019) - Commission VIII of DPR RI made a Specific Working Visit (Kunsfik) to Serang City, Banten Province in the framework of supervision of The Family Hope Program (PKH) and Non-Cash Food Assistance Program (BPNT), Friday (6/12).

Chairman of Commission VIII of DPR RI H. Yandri Susanto, S.Pt, revealed that PKH and BPNT have been nice and successful.

 "Yes, so today (Friday) Commission VIII, make a Specific visit to the city of Serang to see the family hope Program and Non-cash food aid. We think this program is very good, very successful, meaning the benefits are extraordinary," said Yandri who is a politician from the city of Serang.

The Commission's Chairman also addressed the Family Beneficiaries (KPM) who were happily answered cheerfully. "I also had the face of the mothers who had received help, his face was bright, cheerful, and happy" he said.

That is, continued Yandri, these program (PKH and BPNT) are worth improving. Then, the escort in each area also needs to improve and make sure that the help is up to those who are entitled.

Chairman of Commission VIII of DPR RI also expressed the support and readiness of the budget and supervision side for the Ministry of Social Affairs.

 "As Chairman of commission VIII and earlier I brought all factions, we partnered with the Minister of Social Affairs, we see the extraordinary commitment, we are ready from the budget and side of the supervision and from the direct communication system. Essentially, our partner as Commission VIII with the Minister of Social Affairs will be our best care," said Yandri in the presence of journalists.

While in the report, the Director of Social Security Family Ministry M.O. Royani stated that PKH in the province of Banten has reached a total of 271,522 families, with a nominal assistance during the period 2019 worth 920.3 billion rupiah.

"Includes the city of Serang as much as 8,639 KPM, nominal assistance during the period 2019 worth 136.1 billion rupiah," said the director in the presence of commission VIII and 250 KPM in attendance.

In the visit, Commission VIII of DPR. Ri. Also review the expose of independent entrepreneurs of KPM PKH in Serang city which features various types of businesses that are being pioneered by optimizing available resources.

Based on the data collected from the Directorate of Family Social Security, from January 2019 to October 2019, KPM PKH in Serang City which has a natural graduation of 103 KPM and independent graduations of 168 KPM, so the total is 271 KPM or 3.2% of total participants of the entire PKH.

On that occasion, commission VIII of DPR RI also handed the certificate to three KPM PKH independent graduations. As an appreciation to child achievers, commission VIII also handed over the savings to three PKH children in the field of education with a value of one million rupiahs per child, which is an offering from BNI.
