BOGOR (20 May 2021) - In preparing the Work Plan for 2022, the Ministry of Social Affairs optimizes the 2022 budget for the Directorate General of Social Protection and Security program.

Secretary of the Directorate General of Social Security, Robben Rico explained that the minimal budget should not hinder performance, instead it is optimized to be divided into several activities without forgetting the achievement of the target.

"We can optimize the minimum budget and consider the optimization of the target achievement of several activities within the Directorate General of Social Security," said Robben when opening the 2022 Ministry / Institution Work Plan Drafting activity in Bogor, Thursday (20/5).

The preparation of this Work Plan is intended to sharpen the understanding in the preparation of the 2022 Directorate General of Social Protection Work Plan on the formulation of targets and indicators that refer to the Strategic Plan.

Participants are, in principle, asked to prepare a Work Plan and arrange a budget for the common interest that has an impact on society.

Following the direction of the Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini, that the Ministry of Social Affairs must be able to respond to problems quickly, and the impact can be felt by the community, so she asked for a budget from the Directorate of Social Protection for Natural Disaster Victims (PSKBA) for disaster management.

"The Minister advised, for the PSKBA Directorate in 2022, for example, that the budget is directed towards disaster management," said Robben conveying the message from the Minister of Social Affairs.

Considering that the ceiling received is still tentative, for that, Robben instructed his staff to get rid of sectoral egos in budgeting.

"In that sense, when there is a lack of budget from one of the work units/directorate, the hope is that it can be extracted or taken from the internal budget allocation for the Directorate General of Social Protection and Security," he asked.

However, when the budget shift occurred, he asked that the performance targets be considered to be carried out optimally, so that the realization was also good.

"When the budget shift occurs, please consider the performance targets. Do not let the budget shift, the performance target is neglected or not achieved, "he said.
