PADANG (May 28, 2023) - The Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini visited Darman (63), a person with a deaf speech disability due to a stroke and his son Rivaldo Afrenda (13), a sufferer of withered paralysis. The father and son were previously found in the vicinity of Payakumbuh City by the Padang Social Welfare Education and Training Center (BBPPKS) team and the Pekanbaru Abiseka Center.

Social Affairs Minister Risma handed over Social Rehabilitation Assistance (ATENSI) support to Darman and his family worth IDR17,857,960 i.e basic life fulfillment, nutrition, family kits, cerebral palsy wheelchairs, and entrepreneurship assistance. Darman and his son Rivaldo are now receiving service and treatment at BBPPKS Padang, West Sumatra.

Also present were Members of Commission VIII DPR RI Sri Wulan, Governor of West Sumatra Mahyeldi Ansharullah along with the West Sumatra Province Forkompimda, Payakumbuh City and Padang City, Special Advisor of the Minister of Social Affairs (SKM) for Communication and Mass Media Don Rozano Sigit Prakoeswa, SKM for HR Development and Suhadi Lili Program, SKM in the Field of Relations and Partnerships for Foreign Institutions Faozan Amar, Primary High Leaders, Head of Center/Integrated Center/Central of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs.
