Disaster Preparedness Training for Rehsos Companions in 7 Working Areas of the Abiyoso Center
LEMBANG (May 17, 2023) - As part of the ATENSI Program service improvement activities, Social Rehabilitation Companions from 7 Abiyoso Center work areas (Cimahi City, Bandung Regency, Muara Enim Regency, Pali Regency, Lahat Regency, Belitung Regency, and East Belitung Regency) received Disaster Preparedness Training, held at Graphic Cikole Lembang Bandung.
Social Rehabilitation Companions receive guidance on how to deal with disasters in their respective areas. Twiadi, Disaster Voluntary Worker from East Java Province, gave directions and materials for this activity and introduced all buffer stock items, from ready-to-eat food to multipurpose family tents.
Moreover, the companions also had the opportunity to simulate how to set up a multipurpose family tent. Twiadi emphasized that if a disaster occurs, the Assistants must be able to divide the tasks to avoid panic and confusion.
