BREBES (May 18, 2021) - Empowerment of Beneficiary Families (KPM) of the Family Hope Program (PKH) is one of the targets launched by PKH in 2021. This is the basis for PKH Paguyangan Human Resources, Brebes Regency holding business improvement training activities with the theme "Getting Started Independent Business and Becoming Prosperous" which was attended by PKH HR and 31 KPM administrators of the PKH Joint Business Group (KUBE) throughout Paguyangan District.

The speakers presented were two KPM PKH Independent Graduation who have successfully developed their businesses, namely KPM PKH Graduation from Brebes District, Bastiatun (Tia) and KPM PKH Graduation from Larangan District, Yudia Ningrum (Ayuning).

"Ms. Tia has received PKH assistance since 2016 and decided to graduate independently in 2020. "'Tia Sprei' is a product that was produced and is the business that Mrs. Tia is involved to this day," said Paguyangan District PKH Coordinator, Dwi Natalis Setiawan.

Starting the business in 2018 when he was still active as a KPM PKH, he now employs four employees. Its turnover has also reached IDR30 million per month.

The second resource person, Ayuning, received PKH assistance for almost 6 years from 2014, and decided to graduate independently in 2020 because he already had an independent business.

"Mrs. Ayuning sells a product in the form of salted egg crackers called Ayuning. Her product has quite a chance in the market with a turnover reaching IDR60 million. Now, four employees are working for her business," said Dwi.

Dwi hopes that this business improvement training activity can motivate KUBE administrators to become entrepreneurs, so that the process of empowering KPM PKH in Paguyangan can be achieved well and there are valuable benefits obtained.

Meanwhile, Ayuning, who was the resource person, advised the KPM PKH who were present as activity participants to have the courage to realize their desire to start a business. “Be a productive woman, don't just stop at what you want, but pursue it! Make it happen!" he said when delivering the material in front of the training participants.

Responding to a message from Ayuning, one of the training participants said that he had been running a small business at home, "I have a mini opak production business which I will continue to develop. Hopefully I can also follow in the footsteps of Mrs. Ayuning who has already been successful in the business sector culinary," he said.
