Indicative State Budget of the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation for 2024 IDR 1,259,431,621

TANGERANG (8 June 2023)  – Commission VIII DPR RI V Session Period 2023-2024 held a Work Meeting and Work Committee Meeting with the Ministry of Social Affairs.

"The 2023 Ministry of Social Affairs program is supported by a budget of IDR 78,179,586,688,023.  "Meanwhile, the indicative state budget for 2024 is IDR 77,828,866,946,000, so there is a difference (2023-2024) or a decrease of IDR 350,719,740,000," said Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini at the House Commission VIII Working Meeting with the Minister of Social Affairs at Santika Premiere ICE BSD Hotel, South Tangerang, Banten, Thursday (8/6/2023).

Of the total budget of IDR 77.8 trillion, the Ministry of Social Affairs will use it for personnel expenditure, goods expenditure, and capital expenditure as well as social assistance.

Meanwhile, the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation is implementing the 2023 Program and Budget and planning the 2023 Program and Budget.

 Following the Memorandum of the Minister of Social Affairs No 306/MS/PR.01.01/5/2023 dated 11 May 2023 on the distribution of the 2024 Indicative State Budget and the preparation of the Ministry of Social Affairs Work Plan 2024, a comparison of the indicative state budget for the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation for Fiscal Year 2024 with the 2023 budget allocation of IDR 1,228,603,927.

 "From ISR 1.2 trillion budget, IDR 266,286,074 is allocated for personnel expenditure, IDR 148,883,959 for operational goods expenditure, and IDR 813,433,903 for non-operational expenditure (goods, capital, social assistance). If it is compared to the 2024 indicative state budget of IDR 1,259,431,621, there is a difference in the increase of IDR 30,827,694," said Director General of Social Rehabilitation Pepen Nazaruddin.

Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation for the realization of priority programs in 2023 with targets: Social Rehabilitation Assistance for Children, Social Rehabilitation Assistance for Persons with Disabilities, Social Rehabilitation Assistance for the Elderly, and Social Rehabilitation Assistance for Vulnerable Groups.
