MALANG (April15, 2023) - The Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini conducted a Roadshow of Indonesian Economic Heroes (PENA), which took place at the Hall and Courtyard of the Bululawang District Office, Malang Regency.

Activities are held offline and online and broadcast live via YouTube Channel, Facebook, and Zoom PENA TV, attended by PENA beneficiaries throughout Indonesia.

The purpose of the Roadshow activity which was held for 2 days (15-16 April 2023) was to provide supervision and reinforcement to entrepreneurial actors in the PENA program, to help beneficiaries of the PENA program promote and market their products to a broad audience, to give appreciation to PENA beneficiaries who are ready for graduation (dropping out of social assistance / not becoming recipients of social assistance), as well as displaying the success story of the PENA program.

In this Roadshow, a bazaar stand was also held, filled by 70 PENA beneficiaries from the Malang Raya area (Malang City, Malang Regency, and Batu City). Apart from the bazaar, the activity was complemented by organizing various entrepreneurship workshops/training such as grocery shop training by the SRC Team, packaging and preservatives training by the SETC Team, cooking training by SHS, and laundry training by the Accor Team.

Apart from the Roadshow, the Minister of Social Affairs also provided motivation to the PENA beneficiaries and handed over YAPI assistance to 17 orphans/orphans/orphans of the Kanjuruhan Tragedy which was collected through donations from Kitabisa.com and Astra Insurance, where the assistance was put into the accounts of each beneficiary through Bank Permata education savings.
