Inspectorate General Promotes Illegal Levy Eradication Task Force
JAKARTA (September 26, 2019) - Inspectorate General which is in charge as inspector in Ministry/Institution is responsible to create good and clean governance. One of negative activities found in present time is illegal levy. Thus, Inspectorate General makes some serious efforts to eradicate illegal levy by promoting Illegal Levy Eradication Task Force. The task force itself is set by Government Regulation of Republic Indonesia Number 87 Year 2015 on Illegal Levy Eradication Task Force as one of the government’s efforts to create good and clean governance.
In order to accomplish the goal, Inspectorate General holds Workshop Illegal Levy Eradication Task Force and Whistleblowing System in Ministry of Social Affairs which was held in Hotel 101 Surya Kencana Bogor. 94 participants including officials from the head office of Ministry of Social Affairs and functional officials and general/certain functional officials from some units in Jabodetabek and West Java attend this event.
The purpose of the event is to synchronize perceptions and steps taken in the supervision reinforcement in order to establish public services which are free of illegal levy di The Ministry of Social Affairs. Through this event, Inspectorate General hopes to instil the value of anti-illegal levy in the ministry’s officials and increased understanding of illegal levy, especially the understanding of Illegal Levy Eradication Task Force, Whistleblowing System and Victim/Witness Protection. This series of event are one of Inspectorate General’s efforts to build a commitment to establish public services which are free of illegal levy in The Ministry of Social Affairs.
Some sources attend to enrich participant’s understanding
in the event held from September 23 until September 25, 2019. Sources attending
the events are Inspector General of The Ministry of Social Affairs,
representative from Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Illegal Levy
Eradication Task Force official (Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and
Security Affairs), Witness Protection and Programs Institution, Ministry of
Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform, Ombudsman of Republic Indonesia, and
the Minister’s Expert Staff on Legal Studies and Supervision.
