SUBANG REGENCY (13 June 2021) - Director General of Poverty Handling (PFM), Asep Sasa Purnama visited Subang Regency to explore the potential for poverty alleviation.

 

On the first visit, the Director General of PFM visited several areas around Tanjungwangi Village, Cijambe District to explore the potential for poverty alleviation by holding meetings with several community leaders to explore the potential in the fields of agriculture, forestry, and marine affairs in Subang Regency for business development in dealing with extreme poverty.

 

The Director General of PFM also said that efforts to handle the poor need to be carried out with multidimensional synergy in a professional manner, with synergies with the handling of extreme poverty as expected. "Hopefully there will be entrepreneurship development in the fields of agriculture, animal farm, forestry and marine affairs for KPMs to increase their potential as well as efforts to overcome poverty in synergy with cross-ministerial ministries," said the Director General of PFM.

 

On the occasion, several community leaders also conveyed related to the local potential of rural and urban areas, one of which was in the fields of agriculture and animal farm which could be developed for social welfare in the community.

 

Present at the meeting were the Head of the Sub-Directorate for Assistance and Empowerment of the Directorate General of Poverty Handling Region I, the Head of the PFM Division of the Subang Social Service, as well as several community leaders in several Subang areas.
