JAKARTA (September 3, 2019) - Hundreds of Agent of Change of the Ministry of Social Affairs seemed enthusiastic in participating in the Workshop on Strengthening Change Agencies in the Context of Bureaucratic Reform which was opened directly by the Minister of Social Affairs.
Minister of Social Affairs Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita stated that the role of bureaucracy is vital in mobilizing and influencing the development of a country. Therefore, governance of Indonesia's bureaucracy must follow global developments.
"The development of the state apparatus is carried out through Bureaucratic Reform to increase the professionalism of the state apparatus and to realize good governance, at the central and regional levels in order to be able to support development in other fields," Agus said, Monday (2/9).
Harry Z Soeratin announced, in the 2010-2025 Bureaucratic Reform Grand Design, it was hoped that the Ministries / Institutions and Governments could create a government bureaucracy that was professional and with high integrity.
"In 2019, it is expected to be able to realize the quality of good governance, clean, and free of corruption, collusion, and nepotism. In addition, it is also hoped that public services can be realized in accordance with the expectations of increasingly advanced communities, "said Harry.

Participation of 243 people, consisting of representatives of Change Agencies from each Work Unit within the Ministry of Social Affairs. The activity will be held for four days from 1-4 September 2019.
