Minister of Social Affairs Presents Bicycles to Children with Facial Tumors

Ade Subhan's smile widened. For a while, the 11-year-old boy looked at it then slowly his hand began to touch some parts of the new bicycle in front of him.

Even though his head is still bandaged from the surgery he just underwent, the boy is still engrossed in tinkering with the vehicle he has always dreamed of. The red bicycle was a gift from Social Affairs Minister Tri Rismaharini.

"Keep the spirit, Brother Subhan. Subhan's sister can get treatment, yes, she can recover. So you have to be strong," said the Minister of Social Affairs encouraging Subhan.

Subhan suffered from a facial tumor that made the left side of his face swell. On November 15, 2022, the Galih Pakuan Center facilitated Subhan's health services to RSCM. Since then, Subhan and his mother have lived in the Handayani Center. The Ministry of Social Affairs bears the operational costs during treatment.
