Minister of Social Affairs Warns All Parties not to Complicate the Disbursement of Social Assistance
JEMBER (August 28, 2021) - Minister of Social Affairs, Tri Rismaharini carried out a working visit to Jember Regency, East Java, Saturday (28/8). During his visit, the Minister of Social Affairs evaluated the existence of thousands of social assistance that had not been distributed to Family Beneficiaries (KPM).
On that occasion, the Minister of Social Affairs gave a warning and a stern warning to Himbara as a distributor in Jember so that there is transparency/openness of data between distributors and the Ministry of Social Affairs so that the problem lies with the undistribution of social assistance funds.
"I give a stern warning! This must be resolved. The data must also be disclosed. Otherwise, the Ministry of Social Affairs will always be at fault, thought to be incompetent," she said in a firm and high tone.
Present to accompany the Minister of Social Affairs, Regent of Jember, Hendy Siswanto, Member of Commission VIII DPR RI, Umar Bashor, Director General of Social Protection and Security, Pepen Nazaruddin, Director General of Poverty Handling, Asep Sasa Purnama, Secretary of the Directorate General of Social Protection and Security, Robben Rico and Special Staff to the Minister.
