Minister Risma Assures Beneficiaries Can Achieve a Successful Future
JAMBI (August 21, 2024) - After meeting Suku Anak Dalam
in Batanghari Regency, Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini continued to
meet the beneficiaries who were training at the Alyatama Jambi Center on
Wednesday (08/21/2024). The beneficiaries felt happy when Minister of Social
Affairs Risma greeted them one by one and encouraged them to achieve a
successful future.
The beneficiaries who are currently
also living at the Alyatama Jambi Center have various backgrounds, such as
children in conflict with the law, abandoned children, disabilities, and even
victims of rape. Not only mothers and adult men but also young children can be
found there. With these various backgrounds, they have anxiety about their
future. Seeing this, Social Affairs Minister Risma tried to have a dialogue and
provide encouragement.
"Because our God is all-just,
behind every difficulty there must be an advantage. So, ladies, my children,
please don't give up. Right now, you are having a hard time, but success is in
our hands. You can achieve a successful future," said Risma, encouraging
the beneficiaries who were sewing training.
Minister Risma had the chance to greet
a beneficiary who was a victim of physical violence and neglect. The tiny girl
could only speak softly and did not dare to speak loudly. Whispers of comfort
and motivation were uttered by Minister Risma to the little girl who finally
cried while hugging the Minister. Minister of Social Affairs hugged the little
girl tightly and kept saying, "Keep your spirits up, come on, keep your
spirits up."
To prepare for the future of the
beneficiary, Ministry of Social Affairs through the Alyatama Jambi Center has
prepared various kinds of training tailored to their interests. If they have
completed the training, the beneficiaries can also be given business assistance
for those considered capable of running a business. If not, then they can train
at the Alyatama Cafe, also located in the Alyatama Jambi Center
complex. Not only that, the Center also provides psychological
support to heal their inner wounds. "They can also learn to sell at Cafe
Alyatama," said Risma. In addition to meeting female beneficiaries who are
learning to sew, Minister Risma also met beneficiaries with disabilities.
Minister Risma invited them to become content creators and will bring in
trainers to specifically guide them. "I will bring in trainers for you to
learn how to create content so that you can create good content. Do you want
to?" invited Risma to the disabled beneficiary.
